What does BAS entail?
Account Aspects are registered BAS agents who are qualified to prepare your BAS (Business Activity Statement). We offer customised bookkeeping packages which include the preparation and lodgement of your Quarterly BAS obligations. We will also keep you accountable by informing you of your Quarterly BAS due dates.
Monthly IAS is an ATO reporting requirement if you withholding over $25,000pa in PAYG. Account Aspects are registered BAS agents and offer monthly IAS services as part of our Bookkeeping packages.
Manage your cashflow easier by opting for Monthly BAS lodgements. Monthly BAS lodgement are also mandatory for businesses turning over more than $20m pa. Account Aspects are registered BAS agents and offer Monthly BAS services as part of our Bookkeeping packages. We will also keep you accountable by informing you of your Monthly BAS due dates.
If you earn less than $75,000pa you can voluntarily registered for GST and report an annual BAS. This sets up for future growth with minimal disruption to your business. Account Aspects can assist with your Annual BAS GST reporting to the Australian Tax Office.
If your business makes payments to contractors or subcontractors you may need to lodge a Taxable payments annual report (TPAR) by 28 August each year. Using Xero, Account Aspects can assist with Xero TPAR payments or even Nil TPAR reporting.
Payroll tax is mandatory for employers. Account Aspects can help with all of your payroll calculations and staff awards. Each state and territory has its own payroll tax legislation, with different rates and thresholds.
