Account Aspects ‘Tradie Tools for Better Business’ Cloud Bookkeeping with Xero & Geoop
For 13 years we have successfully provided accurate Bookkeeping Services. Five years ago we partnered with Xero to implement cloud based Bookkeeping Services which gave us greater flexibility. We gained an abundance of benefits using Xero which we had to share with other business owners. We were introduced to GeoOp three years ago and saw the huge efficiency that cloud based job management software would bring to a Tradie business.
Xero & GeoOp in Newcastle will enhance Tradies business using cloud based tools = Flexible Beer Time.
‘Tradie Tools for Better Business’ attracted the attention of our acknowledged speakers and sponsors and our own Leigh Cummings was our MC for the evening.
As soon as I mentioned the event to Toni Davis – Branch Manager, The Greater Kotara, she knew The Greater had to become involved.
The Greater has been helping families, businesses and community groups for over 70 years. Their straight forward banking approach and Toni’s passion to go that extra mile for her clients was a natural fit for our Tradies attendees. Toni explained how The Greater can help us within our business with every day banking, insurance and business loans. The Greater has a bankfeed that integrates to Xeromaking it easy to have a real-time view of your cashflow.
Hearing from Justin on how he has implemented Xero & GeoOp into their business was a great insight for our Tradie attendees. We asked Justin Clarke from Adamstown Electrical to be involved in the event. Justin has been able to transform the way he conducts his business. He believes in collaboration between other Tradies to look like a bigger business. By having Xero & GeoOp Cloud Based, Justin is able to manage his jobs, invoices his clients and get paid all on site. This has increased his productivity and grown his business with integrated systems with less inefficiency in his processes. He enjoys collaborating with other Tradies who uses the same tools as the software can be linked and they can compete on the same level.
Sarah enthusiastically presented Xero’s commitment to reliable connectivity, continuous innovation and world class data protection. The benefits of moving your current Bookkeeping System to Xero was evident with the versatility of Cloud Technology. Sarah showed this video featured below which highlighted the mobile use of this astounding Cloud Based Software giving Tradies the use on Online Quotes and Invoicing along with Real-Time Insights to make informed business decisions.
With currently over 500,000 subscribers and growing rapidly it’s no wonder Xero was awarded Forbes World’s Most Innovative Growth Company for the past two consecutive years running along with BRW’s Most Innovative Company.
Andrew explained how the affordability, job management focus, simple interface and easy deployment were what make GeoOp unique. When Andrew displayed the features of GeoOp with its Real Time Job Sheets, Invoicing, GPS Tracking and Simple Job costing the eyes of our Tradies widened. The video below shows us how a real life customer was able to Save 25 hours per week in administration work, Increase their Job Capacity and Grow their Business. It gave us a reality that GeoOp paired with Xero and a Professional Bookkeeper would transform their business.
You can see that GeoOp has focused on the ease of integration with Xero, ensuring no duplication of entries, correct tax calculations, parts sync and your invoices all in the one place.
The feature we Value and Shared with our Tradies is the ability to take photos, attached them to the job and client sign for as acceptance of a job well done.
